Tag the pages you want to retry in Noteshelf 3

On iPad, drag the PDF from Files into Noteshelf 3 and solve with a pen.

16-24
Select a page, long-press, then choose Tag and add Retry.

24-32
Search for Retry and choose the tag to find review pages. Physical-device testing remains pending.

Retry is a tag you choose yourself. Tags help find pages within Noteshelf; they do not provide automatic connection, sync or error detection in Quiz Notebook. Do not assume tags travel to other apps or a PDF.

Noteshelf 3 iOS official docs checked on 2026-10-06. App-to-app transfer, pen input and tag search have not been tested on a physical iPad. These menu steps do not apply unchanged to Android or Windows.
