Turn Obsidian study notes into quiz material
- Open your Obsidian note and copy the passages you need. Notes are stored as local Markdown files; this guide starts with selecting the text you want to use.
- Give the prompt below and your chosen text to your own AI. Compare questions, answers and source locations. Ask for easier or harder candidates when needed.
- Request only accepted items as Question | Answer. Paste them into Quiz Notebook’s question-and-answer input, review, save and practise.
This guide uses selected text and manual copying; it does not connect or sync your entire vault. The developing candidate-review screen has not been added to existing store releases.
Choose the scope of linked notes
Copying the current text does not include the contents of linked notes or attached images. Select any additional passages you need. Keep questions whose sources and conditions you can check, then practise recalling the ideas you have organised.

Let your own AI help draft questions
Your AI is an external service. Your own account, fees and usage limits apply; AI usage is not included with Quiz Notebook. This page does not send your material to an AI.
Copy the prompt
Suggest 10 revision question-and-answer candidates from the study material below. Do not invent facts absent from the material. Flag uncertain answers or proposed corrections separately. First show a table with candidate number, question, answer, source location and difficulty. After I choose the candidate numbers, output only those items in this format, one per line, without headings, numbering, explanations or code fences: Question | Correct answer | Wrong answer 1 | Wrong answer 2 | Wrong answer 3 Avoid duplicate answers. Use plausible distractors from the same category. If you cannot supply reliable distractors, output Question | Correct answer only. Do not put a vertical bar or line break within a field.
