Keep your Notability working as a separate PDF
After writing your solutions in Notability on a question PDF made with Wrongnote Maker, save a separate solved copy for your next review.
- Keep the question PDF before adding handwriting. Import a copy into Notability and write your working and the reasons for mistakes.
- In the note’s more (…) menu, choose PDF as the export format. The official guides call this Export Options or Export as.
- Choose the destination yourself and use a clear name such as retry-01-solved.pdf. Select an on-device folder if you want to keep the file on the device.
- Reopen the saved PDF. Check page order, passages, diagrams, equations and your new handwriting. Keep both the original question PDF and the Notability note.
Saving a PDF copy does not require a public link or a Gallery post. Reimporting a file does not automatically sync it with Quiz Notebook.
Review example: keep retry-01.pdf as your blank question sheet and retry-01-solved.pdf as your worked copy. Start from the blank sheet when trying again.

Make a fresh PDF of the pages you need to retry
After writing solutions on a PDF made with Quiz Notebook Wrongnote Maker, select the pages you want to study again in MyScript Notes and save a separate review copy.
- Keep the PDF from before you wrote on it, then import it into MyScript Notes. Check that questions include any passages and figures they depend on.
- After solving, choose the pages to retry. In the PDF page thumbnail menu, use … → Manage pages, select the pages, then Export.
- Include annotations in your solution archive; exclude them from the retry copy. Save with a new name such as retry-01.pdf to preserve the original and your work.
- Reopen the exported PDF and check questions, figures, page order and annotations. Import the retry PDF into MyScript Notes as a new copy and solve it with your pen.
Excluding annotations affects annotations added in MyScript Notes. It does not remove answers or handwriting already embedded in the original PDF or photo, or flattened earlier. Use the unmarked original in that case.
Example: if you retry pages 3 and 7 but their shared passage is on page 2, include page 2 too. You select pages manually; this does not identify incorrect answers automatically.
Checked against official documentation and Quiz Notebook PDF-saving code on 2026-10-04. File transfer and another solving session on a MyScript Notes device have not been tested. Menus may vary by device and version.

Keep your handwritten solutions in a Goodnotes PDF
- Bring a PDF collected in Wrongnote Maker into Goodnotes, solve it again and keep your original notebook.
- On iPad, use Share → Export All or Export This Page and choose PDF. Enable Include Annotation and Include Page Background to keep your added content and paper.
- Choose Flattened for broad PDF-viewer compatibility. Choose Editable when you need the original PDF’s links and outline.
- Save under a new name and reopen in another PDF viewer. Check your writing, diagrams and page count. If writing is missing, retry one affected page first.
Detailed Goodnotes menus here are for iPad. On Android, Windows and web, look for Export as PDF. Labels vary by device and version.

Turn handwritten material into study cards
Choose questions and answers from converted text, then add them to Quiz Notebook.
- Convert selected handwriting in your note app to text and check recognition mistakes.
- Arrange one question-and-answer pair per line, separated with a vertical bar | as shown below.
- Paste the pairs into Quiz Notebook, check them before saving, and practise with flashcards, multiple choice or matching.
Use Goodnotes handwriting conversion or the text export available for MyScript Notes documents. Digital pen strokes and photographs of handwritten paper have different recognition limits. The Goodnotes conversion instructions here refer to its iPad guidance.

No Text export in MyScript Notes? Check the note type.
- Check the note type first. Document offers Text, PDF and Word; Notebook and Board offer PDF, PNG and SVG; imported PDFs can be exported as PDF.
- In a Document, use … → Export → Format → Text. Compare the recognized text with your original handwriting.
- For digital ink you wrote in a Notebook, Board or PDF, select it with the lasso and use Convert. This does not imply automatic OCR of photographed handwriting.
- Choose questions and answers from the checked text, arrange them as Question | Answer and paste into Quiz Notebook. Any AI use is through your own account, fees and limits.

Work it out in your notes
Write your solution and explanation. Choose a formula or a step you want to revisit.
Bring over the useful part
Export an image to preserve the equation’s appearance. Organize converted text into questions and answers; keep LaTeX as editable source.
Practise again with a deck
Import the image into Quiz Notebook’s Image Hide and cover the answer or a key step. For text, create a set with Question | Answer lines and review with flashcards or quizzes.
One card example
Front: Which two numbers are needed to factor x² − 5x + 6?
Back: Sum −5 and product 6: −2 and −3 → (x − 2)(x − 3)
Here −2 and −3 are the constants added inside (x − 2)(x − 3). If the question asks you to solve x² − 5x + 6 = 0, the solutions are x = 2 or x = 3.
Check signs, brackets, fractions and exponents against your original work. Confirm LaTeX display support in your Quiz Notebook version; use an image to preserve the exact appearance.
This workflow uses files you export and import yourself. Features, menus and terms vary by app version, device and plan. Check for the math conversion menu first. Recognition results are not automatically graded as correct.
Evernote ENEX → suggested questions → your selected deck
Import text from Evernote ENEX, prepare a prompt for your own AI, review its suggested questions and save only those you accept. Open “Create my own deck → Make a deck with my AI” in the latest Windows app.
- Export the notes you need as ENEX from Evernote for Windows or Mac.
- Import ENEX text, prepare a prompt and run it yourself in your external AI service.
- Import the AI result JSON, compare and edit it against the source, then save the accepted questions.
The AI workbench is currently in Korean. ENEX import reads text only; it does not OCR images, scans or attachments. Mac and dedicated tablet update candidates include the workflow; this does not establish support in phone store releases.
