Import and export decks with Obsidian, Markdown, and TXT

Move questions, answers, and explanations to a file, and import the changes made in Markdown into a new deck. Preserve the original deck and file, and check before saving.

Importing files to a new deck

My Study RoomSelect the file under 'Import & Export Deck File'.
Check the deck name, number of questions, and the first 5 questions. The title and body of the general note are Q&A candidates, so check if the content is correct.
Click 'Check and Save to New Deck'. Existing decks are not overridden, and auto-sync is turned off.

Each file is under 3MB and has up to 5,000 questions. This study room uses JSON backup and .md·. markdown·. txt·. csv·. Receive TSV. .obsidian settings folder or archive ZIP do not import the entire folder.

Read and edit on Obsidian

After selecting a deck in My Learning Room, export it as "Obsidian / Markdown (.md)".
Copy or move the saved .md to your Obsidian storage folder and open it.
Question· Answer· Edit the main text under Explanation. Preserve the boundaries of the statement marked with HTML comments and the data blocks at the end of the file.
Bring the modified .md back to My Learning Room and check the changes in the preview.

Add/delete items, errors, tags, etc., are handled in the original deck or using CSV or TXT tables. Internal links, embedding, and attachment paths are saved in text, but other notes or attachments are not read automatically. Syntax requiring the Obsidian plugin is not run on the web.

How do you read Markdown and TXT in general?

Markdown's ## 질문 Read the following text as an answer candidate. The codeblocks inside the title are not divided into questions. You can also receive a Markdown table with a question and answer column.

A regular TXT creates one item with both the file name and the main text. To create multiple items, the first line is set to question·answerSet it to and divide the columns into tabs. General sentences with commas are not automatically converted into multiple items.

What is saved and what to check

It preserves additional information such as questions, answers, explanations, and support formats such as incorrect answers, tags, and sources. Some additional information is retained when exporting without being separately displayed on the web screen. Account, purchase permissions, and sync settings are not included in file exchange.

The original deck text for sale is not eligible for general file exchange. For image hiding and post-it placement, please use the full backup of the respective app. External images or attachments must be moved separately. If preview cancellation or format errors occur, the existing deck will be retained.

Restore the previous Quiz Notebook Markdown to the structured data at the end. Changes made only to the body of the previous file will not be reflected, so please import it first and then export it to the new Markdown for use.
